Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro are here to greet India

A photo of Redmi Note 7 Pro with all the features

Xiaomi created history when it launched its Note 3 in India. It was one of those phones which took off like a rocket. It created one of the best phones in the lower budget section and that shot Xiaomi to fame. It was one of the best low budget phones and some of the reviewers actually called it the king of the low-end smartphones. Xiaomi is known for making phones which are sturdy and value for money. It has created the best phones in those sectors and no one has ever matched them.

That said, the company came out with further editions with Note 4, Note 5 and even Note 6 and every one of them were well received. These line of smartphones is what shot Xiaomi to the number one spot in the smartphone sellers list. It became the undisputed king in the Indian market. This is where the company has gained popularity and no other phone of Xiaomi has ever performed as well as its Note series. That said, the company is back with another Note series phone, the Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro.

These phones are outstanding to look at. The phone feels good and the back panel along with its mesmerizing screen just sweep you off your feet. Given all this for a price tag which also dazzles you in every way. Redmi’s had traditionally a problem with connectivity but with the entry of Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 675 chipset for Note 7 and Note 7 Pro respectively, has solved that long-lasting issue.

There is not a lot of difference in Note 7 and 7 Pro although the difference might be a deal breaker for some. The chipset for starters is different, Redmi Note 7 dons a Snapdragon 660 chipset while Note 7 Pro has an 11nm Snapdragon 675 which is much better than the previous one. The other major difference is the camera, Note 7 has 12 MP and a 2 MP camera at the back and a 13 MP front camera while Note 7 Pro has a Sony IMX586 camera at the back with an addition 5 MP and a 13 MP front camera. A similar camera is seen on Honor View20 which costs around INR 37,999.

The prices of these phones depend on the variants. The Redmi Note 7 is priced at INR 9,999 for 3GB+32GB model while the 4GB+64GB model is priced at INR 11,999. The Note 7 Pro, however, steps the prices up a notch. The price for 4GB+64GB is INR 13,999 while the 6GB+128GB is priced for INR 16,999.

These prices are very attractive and so are the colors of the phone. They are coming to the Indian market soon and it will be interesting to see how these phones perform.
