At a mega launch event held on September 10th, Apple introduced its all-new 7th-gen iPad with a bigger display and powerful hardware. It comes with improved cameras and all-day battery life.
The iPad (2019) runs iPadOS, and sports a 10.2-inch Retina IPS display with a resolution of 2160×1620 pixels, a pixel density of 264ppi. The iPad also supports the Apple Pencil (first generation). It is powered by the Apple A10 Fusion SoC, alongside the M10 coprocessor. It will be available in two storage options — 32GB and 128GB. It features an 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it bears a 1.2-megapixel camera with an f/.2 aperture.
Connectivity options on the iPad (2019) include Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth v4.0, with the Wi-Fi + Celluar model also gaining GPS and LTE connectivity, as well as Wi-Fi calling, thanks to its Nano-SIM card slot and eSIM tech. It features stereo speakers and dual microphones.
The iPad (2019) features a Touch ID fingerprint sensor on the bottom bezel, a three-axis gyroscope, an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, and a barometer. It is powered by a 32Whr battery rated to deliver up to 10 hours
The new iPad ( 10.2-inch) will be available at a starting price of Rs 29,900 for the Wi-Fi-only model and Rs 40,900 for the LTE model. You will be able to buy it via Apple authorized resellers. It will go on sale starting September 30.
