TCL Electronics has announced that it will soon collaborate with JioCinema, onto its Google-certified Smart TVs. As a result, the TCL TVs will host over one lakh hours of exciting content from the Jio‘s digital content platform, including movies, TV shows, music, videos, and trailers across all major language.
While announcing this association, the company’s Managing Director Mike Chen informed: “JioCinema has been gradually taking over traditional broadcasts and it is offering good content. We are glad to announce our association with JioCinema, one of India’s frontrunners in offering enthralling on-demand content solutions”. At TCL, we are driven to provide the most immersive and integrated entertainment solutions to our customers and are affirmative that the users will appreciate the extensive collection of movies and shows by JioCinema now available on the Smart TVs by TCL. He added.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has also announced that it would bring the popular OTT app, JioCinema onboard its series of TVs.
The company has confirmed this news via its official Twitter handle. In a small teaser video, the Chinese TV manufacturer has informed its subscribers that they will get access to JioCinema on their big screens.
JioCinema is a video streaming service from Reliance Jio. With this app, one can watch TV shows, Jio exclusives, movies, documentaries, trailers and more. The telecom operator’s app offers support for mobile and web platforms.
JioCinema supports 11 languages such as Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Bhojpuri.
