Motorola E6 Plus and E6s Unveiled in IFA to come to India

Motorola unboxed its latest Moto E6 Plus smartphone at the recently concluded IFA 2019. Motorola has now teased a short video on Twitter that confirms that Moto E6 Plus will soon be unveiled in India. The video also revealed that the smartphone will also have a 64 GB internal storage option.

Features of E6 Plus

As the name suggests, the Moto E6 Plus is the successor to the recently launched Moto E6. Moto E6 Plus sports a 6.1-inch HD+ Max Vision IPS display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and 720 x 1560 pixel resolution. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor and gives 2 GB and 4 GB RAM options and 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage variants. It runs on Android 9 Pie and houses a 3,000 mAh battery.

On the camera front, Moto E6 Plus features a dual rear camera that uses a 13 MP primary sensor along with a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8 MP camera for selfies. For connectivity, the smartphone features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. For security, there’s a fingerprint sensor at the back.

Now, Motorola has launched a new affordable Moto E-series smartphone in India with a slight name change – the Moto E6s. Motorola is actively launching smartphones in India. After the Moto One Vision and One Action, the Lenovo-owned company has now brought its latest budget-friendly phone to regain its ground in highly competitive Indian mobile phone market.

The Moto E6s has been priced at Rs. 7,999 for the sole 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage variant. The new Motorola phone comes in Rich Cranberry and Polished Graphite color options.

It will go on sale starting September 23 and will be available via Flipkart. As for Moto E6s launch offers, the smartphone will get Rs. 2,200 Jio cashback and Cleartrip vouchers worth Rs. 3,000.

Top Features and Specification of E6s

Design and Display: The Moto E6S features a 6.1-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels) waterdrop-notch display and 80 percent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone sports a polycarbonate body design, which makes the phone very lightweight. It comes in Rich Cranberry and Polished Graphite color options.

Hardware and Storage: Motorola E6S gets an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, and the phone offers up to 64GB of internal storage that can further be expanded via a MicroSD card (up to 512GB).

Operating System and Security:  The dual-SIM (Nano + Micro) Moto E6s runs Android Pie with a stock interface, but Motorola is yet to confirm whether the affordable phone will be upgraded to Android 10. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication.

Camera and Connectivity: Moto E6s packs a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, 1.12-micron pixel, and auto-focus support. It is assisted by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture and 1.12-micron pixel size.

Connectivity: Options on the Moto E6s include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 /b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo.

Battery and Miscellaneous: Moto E6s comes equipped with a 3,000mAh battery and supports 10W charging that is facilitated by the supplied charger. The phone measures 155.6 x 73.6 x 8.6 mm and tips the scales at 149.7 grams. Onboard sensors include proximity sensor, accelerometer, and an ambient light sensor.

To the much of a surprise, the smartphone comes with a removable back and battery. It gets a triple-slot option, which means you’ll be able to use two SIMs as well as microSD card at the same time.
