All Bose Smart Speakers and Soundbars to get Google Assistant with the next Update

Bose

Bose, one of the most premium acoustics brand in the world has announced an automatic software update that would bring the Google Assistant to all existing Bose smart speakers and soundbars.
The Home Speaker 300 comes with a six-microphone array and has a 360-degree speaker. Voice commands are supported by both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa and users will be able to select a preferred voice assistant by default. Bose smart speaker owners can now also use Apple AirPlay 2 for simple streaming from Apple devices
Bose says the microphone system will be able to retain voices even when the music is playing loud. The Home Speaker 300 features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, which enable Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice-based interactions and music streaming. The speaker isn’t wireless, and like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, it needs to be connected to a power outlet at all times.
Weighing a mere two pounds and measuring just over six-inch, the Bose Home Speaker 300’s acoustic package delivers powerful bass along with 360-degree sound – unlike conventional smart speakers that deliver a narrow beam of audio, the company said in a statement.
Bose Corporation is a manufacturing company that predominantly sells audio equipment. The company was established by Amar Bose in 1964 and is based in Framingham, Massachusetts.
